My Zone Easy is the fixed-deposit-backed version of My Zone — issued against a deposit rather than on an income assessment, earning the same 0.4%.
The earn rate is low and stating it plainly is the honest starting point: at 0.4%, ₹1 lakh of spending returns ₹400.

Reward Structure: How You Earn
EDGE Reward Points are worth ₹0.20 on the Gift EDGE portal — Axis states the rate directly. Every percentage here is stated after that conversion, which is why the point counts look larger than the returns.
4 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 on all eligible spends — 0.4%.
Axis changed this card on 28 August 2026. Gift-card purchases and toll, bridge and road fees stopped earning rewards and stopped counting toward milestones and the annual fee waiver.
| Spend | Effective rate |
|---|---|
| Everything else | 0.4% |
| Fuel, rent, wallet loads, government, gaming | **0%** |
This is a secured card. It is issued against a fixed deposit, which makes it reachable without a credit history — for students, the newly employed, or anyone rebuilding a file. The earn structure matches the mainline My Zone card.
The entertainment benefit tightens on 1 November 2026 — it will require ₹25,000 of spend across the previous three calendar months, where today it is unconditional.
Category Restrictions: Where You Won't Earn
- Where you earn nothing: Earns nothing at all: fuel; rent (MCC 6513); wallet loads (MCC 6540); government institution transactions (MCC 9222, 9311, 9399, 9402); cash withdrawals; EMI conversions; gift card purchases and toll, bridge and road fees (both excluded w.e.f. 28 August 2026); and fees, charges, GST and reversals. Insurance, utilities, telecom, education and jewellery are excluded on some cards only — the per-card notes say which.
- Point expiry: EDGE Reward Points and EDGE Miles expire 36 months from the date of accrual unless the card's own terms say otherwise. Points are forfeited if the card is closed, and a NEGATIVE point balance at closure is converted to a statement debit the cardholder must pay.
- Redemption fee: ₹199 per redemption.

Is the Axis Bank MY Zone Easy Credit Card Worth It?
As a first card it does its job. A secured card that carries the full My Zone offer set and reports to the bureaus is a reasonable way to build a credit history for ₹500 a year.
Do not hold it for the rewards. 0.4% is low even for an entry card; the reason to have it is access, not return.
No annual fee waiver is published for this card, so treat the fee as a fixed annual cost.
Gift cards and tolls stopped earning on 28 August 2026 — a small change on a card at this rate, but it also removes them from any fee-waiver calculation.
