SNAPDEAL BOBCARD earns 4 Reward Points per ₹100 — 1% at the published ₹0.25 rate. That is the highest core rate in BOBCARD's entire range, and it costs ₹249 a year.

BOBCARD's own rewards table places Snapdeal in the top core tier alongside Swavlamban, above every premium card in the range.

Reward Structure: How You Earn

BOBCARD publishes what a Reward Point is worth: 1 Reward Point = ₹0.25 as statement cashback.

There is a second, worse channel. BOBCARD's terms separately state 'Reward Redemption value using Pay with Rewards 1RP = 15 Paisa' — ₹0.15 a point, 40% less. Both are published; the card pages advertise only the better one.

4 Reward Points per ₹100 — 1%. 20 Reward Points per ₹100 on Snapdeal — 5%. 10 Reward Points per ₹100 on other accelerated categories — 2.5%.

Reward Points are earned only on transactions of ₹100 or more, per transaction rather than cumulatively. A run of small purchases earns nothing at all.

The caps that actually bind

Headline rates mean little until you know where they stop. These are the limits on this card:

CapLimit
Cycle2,000 points per calendar month

The accelerated bands cap at 2,000 Reward Points a statement cycle — ₹500 of value, binding at ₹10,000 of Snapdeal spend a month.

Fuel earns nothing on any BOBCARD except HPCL Energie, alongside ATM cash withdrawals and quasi-cash.

Credit-card-on-UPI transactions earn the core rate only, never the accelerated one.

Category Restrictions: Where You Won't Earn

  • Where you earn nothing: Earns nothing at all: fuel on every BOBCARD except HPCL Energie; cash withdrawals at ATM; and quasi-cash transactions. BOBCARD names these three in Annexure 1 of its rewards terms as ineligible for BOTH core and accelerated Reward Points. Transactions below ₹100 earn nothing either (₹150 on HPCL Energie).
  • Point expiry: Reward Points are valid for 24 months from the date they are earned on most BOBCARD products. Points on BOBCARD ETERNA do not expire.
  • Cycle cap: 2,000 Reward Points a statement cycle across the accelerated bands — ₹500 of value, binding at ₹10,000 of Snapdeal spend a month.

Is the SNAPDEAL BOBCARD Worth It?

At ₹249 for a 1% base rate, this is the best base rate per rupee of fee in BOBCARD's range — better than ETERNA at ₹2,499 (0.75%) or TIARA at the same fee. The fee is recovered by about ₹25,000 of ordinary spending.

You do not need to shop at Snapdeal for the card to work. The 1% core rate applies everywhere; the 5% Snapdeal band is a bonus on top.

No fee waiver is published, but at ₹249 that barely matters.

The honest comparison within BOBCARD's range: PRIME is free and pays 0.5%; Snapdeal costs ₹249 and pays 1%. Above about ₹50,000 of annual spend, Snapdeal is ahead.

Redeem as statement cashback, not Pay with Rewards.

Three charges are worth knowing before you apply. Finance charges run at 3.75% a month — 45% a year. Late payment is graduated, from ₹100 on a balance of ₹100–₹500 up to ₹1,300 above ₹50,000. And BOBCARD levies non-reversible 1% processing fees on rent, wallet loading, large utility bills and fuel above ₹10,000 — with toll and bus, railway bookings and third-party education payments added to that list on 1 April 2026.

Reward Points lapse if the card goes unused for 365 days, and are forfeited outright on closure, settlement or dues overdue beyond 90 days.
